Ike Launstein

Ike Launstein has been turning wood for approximately twelve years.
He began after retiring from a long career in education.
Most of the basic skills he learned though attending the South Coast Woodturners’ Meetings,
assistance from some good friends who are also wood turners, and lots of practice.
He especially enjoys creating bottle stoppers and bowls since both make welcome gifts for friends and family.
Although his skill level has improved greatly though creating both club projects, those requested by his family and some just for fun,
he is continually looking to gain more skills so he may produce projects of even greater quality.
